Adult & Pediatric Classroom Course
The Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED classroom course incorporates the latest science and teaches students to recognize and care for a variety of first aid emergencies such as burns, cuts, scrapes, sudden illnesses, head, neck, back injuries, heat and cold emergencies and how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies to help victims of any age – adults (about 12 years and older) and pediatric (infants and children up to 12 years of age).Students who successfully complete this course will receive a certificate for Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED valid for two years.
Adult & Pediatric Blended Learning Course
This course will prepare you to recognize and care for a variety of First Aid, Breathing, & Cardiac emergencies involving Adults, Children and Infants. It also meets OSHA/workplace requirements. This is a blended learning course including an online portion and an Instructor-led classroom skill session. The online portion must be completed prior to attending the in-class portion and must be taken on a PC or tablet with a high speed Internet connection. Allow approximately 2 hours 30 minutes to complete the online portion. Upon successful completion of this course you will receive a digital certificate for Adult & Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED valid for two years.
Basic Life Support Classroom Course
The 2019 Basic Life Support (BLS) course provides healthcare providers and public safety professionals the knowledge and skills necessary to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies in adult, child and infant patients. Consistent with the 2015 AHA Guidelines for CPR/ECC, BLS is the foundational CPR/AED program typically required for healthcare providers and public safety professionals. Through the use of lecture, skills demonstration, practice & case-based emergency response scenarios with a focus on team-based response, BLS builds the key critical thinking, problem solving, and team dynamic skills that are needed to drive better patient outcomes. Upon successful completion of the course, learners will receive a 2-year Basic Life Support digital certificate with anytime, anywhere access to certificate and training history.

Allow approximately 2 hours 5 minutes to complete the online portion. Upon successful completion of this course you will receive a digital certificate for Adult First Aid/CPR/AED valid for two years.
Get Certified to Become an Instructor for CPR/AED/FirstAid Courses
Instructor Certification Prerequisites
To participate in the First Aid/CPR/AED instructor course candidates must be at least 16 years old and possess current American Red Cross First Aid CPR and/or AED certifications or the equivalent. At the end of the course candidates will be thoroughly familiar with the program materials and be able to:
- Exhibit the characteristics required of an American Red Cross representative and role model & conduct courses in a manner that helps participants stay engaged in the learning process.
- Perform applicable first aid CPR and AED skills at an appropriate skill level.
- Ensure participants’ health and safety during training.
- Maintain complete and accurate records and reports
- Plan organize and conduct the First Aid CPR & AED courses in accordance with the requirements of the specific class they will be teaching.
- Monitor participants’ practice and provide corrective feedback and encouragement that is consistent with the skill chart.
- Recognize that the requirements in the skill assessment tool are criteria for ascertaining the proficiency of a participant’s performance
